While you can’t predict when an emergency will occur, you can be prepared. In less time than you think, American Red Cross training can give you the vital knowledge and skills you’ll need to respond to a life-threatening situation with confidence.

This Red Cross course will train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults.

Prerequisites:  None

Length:  approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes

Certificate Issued and Validity Period:  CPR/AED - Adult - one year
