Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES)

The Red Cross provides emergency communication between military personnel and their families. We help reunite families separated by war and national disaster.

 

When families back home experience crisis in their lives and need to get a message to the service member, the Red Cross steps in and serves as the valuable connecting link. Whether it is news of an illness or death in the family, or the joyous news of a birth, Armed Forces Emergency Services excel at getting the message delivered to the service member using the latest telecommunication technology.

Working with other Red Cross organizations throughout the world, the Florida Coast to Coast Chapter was able to provide services for families who are victims of civil unrest or war.
