Lifeguard Course

Would you like to be a certified lifeguard? A Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Course will be offered at the Daytona Campus Aquatic Center bldg. 310 starting March 18th. Each class must be attended to be certified.

You must be able to pass the pre-test which consists of the following:

300yd swim

Retrieve a brick from bottom of pool

under 1.40 minutes

March 18: (Pre-Test Day)               5pm-9pm

March 19:                                        5pm-9pm

March 20:                                        5pm-9pm

March 24:                                         5pm-9pm

March 26:                                         5pm-9pm

March 28:                                        5pm-8pm

                                March 29:                               8:30am-1pm;2pm-6pm

March 31:                                         5pm-9pm

April 2: (If needed)                         5pm-9pm

Course Fee is $150

$50 non-refundable deposit due upon registration

Balance due first day of class

*DBC Students applying for Aquatic Lifeguard Position will pay $40

Please bring bathing suit, towel, and change of clothes for each class. Course consists of classroom and pool time.
